Sessions are 55 minutes long for individuals and couples. Most clients start with weekly appointments, but we can adjust based on your needs, budget and schedule. Many clients feel comfortable moving to biweekly after initial goals are met, but this time varies depending on the client.

Many couples find that a standard 55-minute session can feel limited for the depth of work they hope to do. Because two partners are sharing experiences, meaningful exploration, skill-building, and repair often require more time. Longer sessions also benefit couples who meet biweekly due to busy schedules with work, children, or other commitments, allowing steady progress to continue even with less frequent meetings.

Sessions are typically offered from 12pm- 5pm on Monday's, 9 am- 7:30 pm Tuesday- Thursday, and 9am- 12pm on Fridays. If there are other times that work better for you, just let us know and we can work around your schedule as best as we can.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer—some clients come for short-term support, while others stay longer for ongoing growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure our work is aligned with your goals.

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, your mental health background and any questions or concerns you have. You will also be asked to fill out an intake form before the first session which we'll use to guide us in our discussion.

I work with individuals and couples managing a variety of issues. If you are seeking individual therapy, I can assist with issues from anxiety and ADHD to grief and low esteem. I support clients with ADHD through a mix of practical tools (like time management and organization strategies) and deeper work around shame, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. My approach is strengths-based and tailored to your unique brain and life.

Therapy helps you better understand the roots of your anxiety, recognize unhelpful thought patterns, and learn tools to calm your nervous system. We’ll also look at the beliefs and behaviors that keep anxiety going, and gently work toward new ways of coping.

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations with less notice will be charged the equivalent of the session fee.
